GUBA Tracking

Baku → Khinalug village →Qalakhudat village →Jek village→ Dahna village →ancient Susay→ Baku

The route is interesting not only as the opportunity to see Azerbaijan villages and to visit Khinalug village high in the mountains, where the villagers talk in the unique language which is still a subject of great interest for linguists; it also gives the opportunity to visit places where virgin nature has been preserved, to try walking steep mountain paths, to enjoy most beautiful sceneries, to experience authentic Azerbaijan hospitality.

Day 1.

Airport reception. Accommodation at the hotel. 
You will have a chance to see places of interest in Baku such as the Old City, Maiden Tower, Shirvanshah’s Palace and many others.


Day 2.

Arrival in Quba (180 km), then going from Quba (57 км) to Khinalug village (2,100 m high). After a small stop for rest continue to Qalakhudat village.In Qalakhudat spend the night in tents or at villagers’ homes by request.


Day 3.

Following the route from Qalakhudat to Jek. Stops for meal break and rest will be arranged every two hours.

Spend the night in Jek village in tents or at villagers’ homes by request.


Day 4.

The next destination is Dahna village.

Spend the night in Dahna village in tents or at villagers’ homes by request.


Day 5.

We reach the final destination of our walking tour in the village Susay.

At request, national dishes for lunch in the restaurant in Susay village or in Quba town.

Transfer to Baku. Accommodation at the hotel.

 

Day 6.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. Transfer to the airport.

- The tour functions between April and November.
- Tourists are supposed to follow instructions during the tour.
- Stops for meal break and rest will be arranged every two hours during the walking tour.
- Meals will be organized and prepared by the instructor, the food products will be purchased in Baku beforehand.
- The walking part is 40 km long.
- The group consists of 6 people (*tours for small groups or individual clients are done by request). 
- The transfer is done by buses or minibuses. 
- The tourists are attended by a guide-instructor.
